    NitroCure™ Treatment Instructions

    1. Dip Treatment (Individual Fish)

    Purpose: Rapid, high-concentration exposure for severe localized infections (ulcers, fin rot, mouth rot).
    Duration: 15–20 minutes.

    Dosage: 100–300 mg/L (≈ 0.38–1.13 g per gallon).
    Example: 5 gallons of dip water → 2–6 g NitroCure.

    1. Fill a clean container with fresh, dechlorinated pond water.
    2. Add the correct amount of NitroCure and stir until dissolved.
    3. Place the koi in the dip for 15–20 minutes, observing closely.
    4. Provide aeration during treatment.
    5. Remove fish immediately if signs of stress occur.
    6. Return koi to the main pond or recovery tank.

    2. Short-Term Bath Treatment

    Purpose: Broader antibacterial exposure for several fish or moderate infections.
    Duration: 6–8 hours.

    Dosage: 25 g per 1,000 gallons (≈ 6.6 mg/L).
    Examples: 250 gallons → 6.25 g | 1,000 gallons → 25 g

    1. Pre-dissolve NitroCure in a bucket of warm pond water.
    2. Add evenly across the treatment tank or pond.
    3. Maintain strong aeration throughout.
    4. Leave fish in treatment water for 6–8 hours.
    5. Perform a 25–30% water change after treatment if practical.

    3. Long-Term Bath Treatment

    Purpose: Continuous, lower-dose exposure for systemic infections or pond-wide outbreaks.
    Duration: 5–7 days (re-dose if water changes are made).

    Dosage: 19 g per 1,000 gallons (≈ 5 mg/L).
    Examples: 1,000 gallons → 19 g | 5,000 gallons → 95 g

    1. Mix the correct amount of NitroCure in a bucket of pond water.
    2. Distribute evenly around the pond.
    3. Keep filters and aeration running as normal.
    4. Avoid carbon or other chemical filtration during treatment.
    5. Observe fish daily for improvement.
    6. After 5–7 days, perform a 25–30% water change.
