Q. What are some of the uses I would have for the health care kit?

A. Use Aqua Meds "Health Care Kit" anytime you want to treat your fish for parasites and bacterial infections. Such as:

Opening your koi pond in the springtime, when your koi pond fish are coming out of the long winter. At this time your koi are very weak and it's very important to remove any parasites and treat any bacterial infections, so your fish are strong and healthy for the summer season.

In the fall just a couple of months before your put your koi pond fish down for the winter. That's the time your fish should be treated with the "Health Care Kit" to remove any parasites or bacterial infections. The cold, long winter is stressful enough on your koi pond fish without the extra stress koi pond fish parasites can cause.

Quarantine, Quarantine, Quarantine!! Not placing NEW fish in quarantine BEFORE you add them to your pond is a big cause of illness and deaths each year. Aqua Meds "Health Care Kit" will treat any parasites and/or bacterial infections your new fish might have. The parasite treatments in our Aqua Meds "Health Care Kit" will treat a 500 gallon "quarantine tank" five times.
